Welcome to the Innovator’s Journey, where you unlock your ability to innovate! Innovation is is the spark of imagination to solve problems in new ways. Innovation is the empathy to understand struggles and evolve solutions. Innovation is the courage to take calculated risks, to try new things, and to proudly try again when you fail. The capacity for Innovation is within all of us, across our individual passions, disciplines and pursuits.
Through the Innovator’s Journey you can join in the conversation, find your voice and share stories, and even level up your work to earn credit. This Journey is open for anyone to join by creating your account at Thrivecast.org. ASU students are eligible to sign up at anytime to receive upper-division credit by registering for FIS-394 (1-3 credits).

The Innovator’s Journey contains four Collections, each of which can be completed for a separate credit in FIS-394. Register once you reach Threshold in any Collection! The Collections focus on four distinct but related areas, designed to support your journey to grow your:
- Me as an Innovator: Build your identity as an innovator, what ever your area of study
- Designing Innovation: Use design practices to design and create an innovation to improve the world
- Innovation In Society: Understanding how people can more usefully integrate innovation into society
- Architecting My Future: Architect the career pathway and presence you dream about achieving
After you create an account, you will work with others who have joined your community, and you can continue to make progress in any of the four Collections. When you do enough activity to reach threshold on the four meters in a Collection you will be given another opportunity to register for FIS-394 and to level up your impact stories to earn ASU credit, if you choose.
Start by visiting ThriveCast.Org or downloading from your App store. ThriveCast is a growth platform, focused on connecting with people and ideas, growing your skills, applying what you learn, and inspiring others. When you first login you can use the Invite Code “INNOVATE” or follow the link you were shared to join that specific community. It’s time to Thrive!
